Physics Success Without Being a Nerd

Doing Your Part

The purpose of this site is to help you understand and accomplish your part in performing successfully in this course called physics.

There are obvious characteristics you MUST possess in order to bring your performance up to the intellectual ability you have.
  • always pay attention in class
  • ask questions when you don't understand
  • actually do assigned work
  • learn how to take good class/video notes
  • discover that you CAN live without texting during class
  • start preparing for tests two or three days before taking them
The pages on this site will give you an excellent overview of the material that will be covered during class and on most major exams. The bulk of the information is in short video format, with some textual material. As you view the videos, you should take notes. Remember, you can pause the video unlike having to listen to a teacher drone on about stuff.

Class time will consist of discussing the topics from each online lesson. You will also be asked to download and print selected items. Some of those are to be completed before coming to class, but normally they will be addressed and done during class time.

It is YOUR RESPONSIBILITY to bring those printouts to class with you.
